Mens Gymnastics 2012
Competition Stream
Gymnasts selected to
be part of this invitation only
program have been chosen as they show motivation and determination to achieve
excellence in gymnastics. Boys training in this program focus on strength and
flexibility to help with skill development and progression. Boys work towards
learning and practicing set and optional routines for interclub competitions.
Commitment by the gymnast for the full year is an expectation in this program.
Boys in the MG program are expected to attend 4 external invitational
competitions throughout the year which are selected by the club. Gymnasts in Level
0-1 are assessed by a senior Chamford coach or judge during normal training
hours to determine when they are ready to move up to the next level. Gymnasts
in Level/Squad 2 and above are tested externally at selected competitions
organised by Gymnastics Victoria.
